San Francisco is one of the teams with most sacks and interceptions this season but that would not intimidate Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes (USA), who has arguably been the best offensive player of the NFL this season.

The Kansas Chiefs quickly went up 3-0 and then a 75-yard pass -the longest this season for Mahomes- to Tyreek Hill (USA) gave them the 9-0. Then it was another long Mahomes-to-Hill pass that gave them the 16-0. Kansas did over 240 yards in the first quarter, which ended 17-0.

D.J. Jones (USA) skillfully avoided a tackle while running along the very left lane on the field and scored for San Francisco in the second. The Mahomes-Hill combination kept on working and Hill’s 12th reception meant the 26-10 advantage in the third.

Mahomes is listed officially as the NFL All-Time passing yards per game leader, the only one with over 300. It is him, the combination with Hill -who ran 210 yards in the first half- and the overall display by the Chiefs that lead some to still place the Chiefs over the Steelers as the favorites to take the 2021 Super Bowl, although the Steelers remain unbeaten.
