The América Eagles defeated the Chivas de Guadalajara with a resounding 0-3 in the Classic of Mexican Soccer.
The first half of the game was clean and there were no fouls until minute 12. Unfortunately there was an anti-football play at 72 ‘when Miguel Ángel Ponce (MEX) hit a terrible kick at the level of the tibia and fibula to Leo Suárez (ARG). He was expelled when his team was losing by two.
America won with the head. Mainly with the head of Henry Martín (MEX), who scored two headshots. The first went in at 45 ‘and the second at 75’, after a header from Sebastián Cáceres (URY) that the Yucatecan directly headed again.
After the expulsion, America increased their advantage thanks to a very good play created by Sebastián Córdova (MEX), who ended up pushing it for three to zero.
With this result, America remains in second place in the general table, with 25 points. The Chivas are in 13th place, just the first to stay out of the Qualifiers for the Liguilla, for the moment.
