According to BloodHorse website, Mexican jockey Mario Flores has been hospitalized with a head trauma following an accident at Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots in New Orléans, Louisiana, United States of America.
The site reports that Mario was on critical condition December 9, day of the accident. His family in México is being informed and a GoFundMe campaign can be found here to support the costs of this process.
Flores, who started his career in 2018 and was won 24 times, was mounting a filly when she mounted, unseating him in front of other horses. One of them could not avoid Mario.
