Week Preview

The FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup concludes week, in Australia. The United States are unbeaten after 4 matches. Also, Red Bull will have its Half Court World Final.

Horse Racing has a huge weekend with Grade I races around the World. Most notably, it is the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe weekend.

After Berlin held the fastest Marathon of all time, this week will see the London Marathon taking place.

The FIA Formula One World Championship returns from its break, with the Singaporean Grand Prix. The IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship closes its season with the Petit Le Mans. The FIA European Truck Racing Championship closes its own in Jarama, Spain.

The FIM Speedway Grand Prix will have its fourth event in Poland. It will be the season finale and a homecoming for Champion-elect, after losing the Ekstraliga Final the previous week with Stal, against Motor Liubin.

ONE has another week full of world title fights, including its first ever Submission Grappling World Championship fight, between Mikey Musumeci (USA) and Cleber Sousa (BRA). Another notable world title fights is the ONE Strawweight Women’s World Title fight between Xiong Jing Nan (CHN) and Angela Lee (USA/SGP). Bellator has a Featherweight World Championship fight between Patrício Freire (FRA) and Ádám Borics (HUN).

Several sports will have an opportunity for a showcase they often do not get, with the World Nomad Games in Turkey.

Croatia sees the main Finals of the ISSF Shotgun World Championship.

IRT and LPRT will be together for the Racquetball US Open.

The FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship Netherlands – Poland 2022 continues.
