Europe wins the Mosconi Cup with a night to spare

We would have expected to write about the outcome of the Mosconi Cup (an exhibition 9-ball Billiards pool match between Europe and the United States) today but that was not possible because Europe won with one day to spare.

The 11-3 domination of the European team over the United States is the largest difference since 2016, when Europe also won 11-3. The Most Valuable Player was Jayson Shaw (SCO) and he scored the winning shot.

With this result, the historic table of this “Ryder Cup” of billiards has it even 13-13 for both sides, with one draw. Next year the tournament crosses the Atlantic again to the United States.
