Tsitsipas suffered, Zverev had no rival (literally).

The Sportspedia

Stéfanos Tsisipas (GRC, seeded # 2) suffered but managed to defeat Auger-Allasime (CAN) in three sets to advance to the semifinals of Abierto Mexicano Telcel.

The Greek took the first set 7-5, the Canadian did the same with the second 4-6 and finally managed to win the match 6-3.

Tsitsipas was very effusive at the end of the game and it is not for less; the game was very competitive.

The one who had no rival, literally, was Alexander Zverev (seeded # 1) as Casper Ruud (NOR) could not with the pain in the wrist and had to retire minutes before his game.

Dominik Koepfer (DEU) will face Zverev while Lorenzo Musetti (ITA) and Grigor Dimitrov (BGR) will play the right to face the Greek.
