The rivalry between Wout van Aert and Mathieu van der Poel (NED) in cyclo-cross continues. This weekend they divided wins in Grade I races.
Mathieu van der Poel (NED) won the X²0 badkamers Trofee – Flandriencross on Saturday, 7 seconds ahead of van Aert and one minute ahead of Laurens Sweeck (BEL).

Today van Aert won at the World Cup in Overijse. Mathieu had a puncture that prevented him from fighting for first place but does not detract from van Aert, who had already taken first place.
Wout won by more than a minute over Mathieu. Thomas Pidcock (ENG) was third, 1’03 “behind the Dutchman.
