After two days of play at the LPGA Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions, Danielle Kang (USA) is at the top of the table, with a cumulative 13-under, 6-under today.

Nelly Korda (USA) had the possibility of having the solo lead by putting an Eagle in the 16 but she had to settle for a Birdie that gave her a triple tie with Kang and her sister, Jessica Korda (USA), until Kang walked away by two strokes.

Yesterday Nelly scored an Eagle at 17 that would help her close the day with 65, one more than Kang. But today she did not repeat it and she was alone in second place. Jessica closed with three bogeys that relegated her to fifth place.

Gaby López (MEX), last year’s tournament champion, missed a Birdie shot on the 16th hole and then missed the putt for par. She closed the day 3 under par, -9 on the accumulated. She is tied for third with In Gee Chun (KOR).
