Juventus are now in Champions League position with this result.

The Sportspedia

It was a game of “come and go”, as expected.

Federico Chiesa (ITA) scored first from a superb pass by Paulo Dybala (ARG), who sent it to him with his heel and Chiesa crossed it in. Chiesa kept on arriving from the right side and Juventus looked closer to a second goal.

But Milan was also arriving to the danger zone. In one of those, Calabria (ITA) entered alone from the back to shoot it into the angle and tie the score shortly before the end of the first half.

The second half also started very intense and it was Chiesa again who broke the tension at 62′, with a left shot now to the lower-back angle to for the second Milan goal.

Ipso facto Andrea Pirlo called Dybala and Chiesa off, for McKennie (USA) and Kulusevski (SWE), respectively. And they worked! Kulusevski entered the area and passed it to McKennie for the third, about ten minutes later.

The score would remain until the end and Milan’s long streak without defeat has come to an end.

Even with the defeat, Milan are still in the Serie A with 37 points, one ahead of Inter -that also lost today-, followed by Roma (33) y and now by Juventus (30), who took Sassuolo off the Champions League spots. Napoli lost today and was relegated to sixth, with 28 points.
