By 7-6 and in extra innings, Culiacán managed to defeat Hermosillo in game 7. Tomorrow they play against Colombia.

Habemus Champion in the Mexican Pacific League! After seven games, in extra innings, this final between the two most winning teams in the history of the League by titles went to the Tomateros de Culiacán, for the 13th time.

Hermosillo scored in the bottom of the first inning with a run driven by Victor Mendoza (MEX).

At the top of the second we had a new game after an unstoppable by Michael Wing (MEX) that tied things.

Meneses and Castillo were patient waiting and they were walked. Alexis Wilson (MEX) and Yoelkis Guibert (CUB) rewarded their patience by driving them in on a single and double for their respective teams to make the score 4-1.

In that same first inning, they took out Hermosillo starter César Vargas (MEX). In his place came Marcelo Martínez (MEX).

Rolando Acosta (MEX) came in for 4-2 thanks to being driven by Julián León (MEX).

Reinforcement Jesse Castillo (MEX) hit a home run at the top of the 3rd for 5-2 and the following runs would be until the fifth inning, one per side.

Isaac Paredes (MEX) tied the game with a home run against Sasagi Sánchez (MEX). New game again!

The game had no more runs in the originally scheduled nine innings and went to extra innings.

Castillo hit his second home run, this time against star Fernando Salas (MEX), giving Culiacán the lead. Then Alexis Wilson landed another hit but could no longer do damage.

Baldonado (PAN) pitched in the ninth and tenth for Culiacán and took the entry blank to give him the Championship and take the victory of the game. Fernando Salas bore the defeat.

Tomorrow the Champion will represent Mexico in the Caribbean Series, playing against Colombia.
